Shell Island is an undeveloped 7-mile long barrier island and beach that makes up the southern reach of St. Andrews State Park. Accessed via private boat or the official Shell Island Shuttle, the island is a local must-see location for visitors who want the pristine beach experience. Swimming and snorkeling are great. Hiking inland on the island offers the opportunity to explore rare Florida coastal plant, bird, and wildlife communities in their natural condition.

For only 13 passengers, the private dolphin tour lasts 2 hours. Captain will reserve the boat to your group or for you. Coast Guard regulations limit the number of passengers to 13, which includes infants and small children.

Shell Island has one thing in common: it is not developed. The island does not have any toilets, concession stands, or man-made features. You'll need to bring food and drinks with you if you plan on eating. You must return everything you bring in to preserve the beauty and natural environment of the area.
